Our Narrators

Our lives have been narrated lately by Instagram, and most importantly, Hardin.  I've been lazy in taking out the big camera, so I have been heavily relying on my iPhone to capture my boy.  Most end up on Instagram because they just look so fun.

Hardin's vocabulary has developed so much in the past month it is astonishing.  He constantly says words that shock me.  Some because of their complexity.  Some because he walks up scratching and tells me he has itchy butt.

He's also very big on size and temperature right now.  Instead of identifying the white dog, he now says big white dog, or small blue flower.  He will tell you everything is either hot, cold or weeerrrrmm.  And he's recently added identifying dark or light to the list with the sun setting a little earlier.

We worked ALL WEEKEND in the yard, and Hardin was a huge help in the not-letting-us-forget-what-we-were-doing department.  Mommy's standing in the tweees.  Daddy on twactor.  Hardo pickin up leaves.  Mommy sweepin the floor, it's doordy.  Dada's got the fire hose, it's spwayin wa-der.  Hardo playin bah-ket-ball.  HARDO GO INSIDE.

His little voice is still just a touch baby and I'm soaking it in while I can.  I know the "kid" voice is not far in our future.

  1. I too love the stage when they are communicating like a person, but still sound a little like a baby.

Cute pics of a precious boy. As always.
