Easter 2015

We had another wonderful Easter with the cousins at Justin & Cathy's house.

Hadley has some serious congestion and drainage that I am pretty sure is a result of the pollen you can see falling from the sky like rain in Georgia these days, but I knew they'd turn her right away at the church nursery so we skipped Easter Service.  I've regretted it all day long.  I should have taken Hardin and left Jason here with the snotty babe.

Fortunately this is a story we know well and have been talking about at school and during bedtime  prayers for weeks.  Hardin attending preschool at the church is something I will forever be grateful for.  In addition to the enormous blessing it is just to have my mom care for our kids, it also allows him to attend a Christian preschool instead of a traditional day care.  To know that he started his educational journey with Christ at the center is priceless.  And I can't wait for Hadley to start Mother's Morning Out next year.

Justin and Cathy have hosted Easter dinner for as long as we can remember, and today a couple of other families joined us.  The kids had a ball hunting and destroying the pinata we brought, and the adults enjoyed a wonderful meal and visit.

It did not take our little Tootsie long to figure out the egg hunt, but once she discovered there was candy inside every egg she was hunting and began begging for "MOE?!?!"  Hardin and the big kids were cracking us up with their seriousness and speed.

Admittedly, Cathy and I didn't put as much time and effort into the Easter picture as we have in years past.  It's just not as easy when you have 4+ year olds who do not take as well to being dressed by mom.  They also moved last year, so the famous front stoop belongs to someone else now.  I will say these are a very accurate representation of these precious kids and their personalities.
